POND Delivers a Psychedelic Storm at Regency Ballroom

POND, the Australian psych-rock powerhouse, graced San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom with an unforgettable performance that left fans in awe. As one of the final dates on their U.S. tour, the band brought their all, delivering a dynamic and electric show that will be remembered as a high point in the city’s concert history. The evening kicked off with a refreshing  set by FazerDaze, a duo from New Zealand, whose playful energy warmed up the crowd in anticipation of POND’s arrival. Tel-Aviv/Israeli based indie pop band RGB are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album, A Place for Lovers. Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves release infectious new track, Sunset to Sunset

  Just in time to kick off your summer, Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves release their infectious new song, Sunset to Sunset.  The track captures the feel good vibe of summer sunsets through it’s vibrant melody, captivating guitars and expressive vocals. The song evokes images of long, carefree days and warm breezy nights, encapsulating the essence of summer bliss and carefree spirit. Nick Perri explains about how the new version came about, So back when we were recording Terra Firma in January 2022, we actually cut two very different versions of a song called Sunset To Sunset. The version you hear on the album is a much more somber emotional version featuring strings and piano, and it’s more reflective of the depth of the lyric- and the way it was written. Rockers Quarters of Change pack the Independent for their Portraits Tour

  The Independent was packed last night as alt rockers Quarters of Change brought their Portraits tour to San Francisco. This was one tour we have been anxiously awaiting arrival of.  The fans arrived early as the line wrapped around the block ahead of entry. The all ages show filled the venue from front to back. The night kicked off with an energetic set by Bay Area alt/indie band High Sunn. They got the crowd warmed up and dancing in no time. When Quarters of Change arrived on the stage, they were like a shot of adrenaline electrifying the crowd with their high energy performance. All eyes were on the band as they captivated the crowd with their talent and stage presence. They blew us away by playing Tightrope second song in, and it sounded every bit as good as the studio recording, and with extra dose of energy of the live performance took it to the top. The Last Dinner Party deliver a pure night of ecstatic revelry at the El Rey Theatre

  November 6th, 2023 was a night that will go down in our music history.  We travelled from San Francisco to attend the first Los Angeles show of The Last Dinner Party at the El Rey Theatre.  The show was sold out and was one of only 5 US shows on their tour. This was a night not to be missed. We first heard The Last Dinner Party on our local radio station Live 105 as they were featuring up and coming bands.  They played Nothing Matters and we were hooked from the first listen. We voraciously searched for more information on this English band and sat in sadness as they didn’t have any shows yet in the US.  We spent months playing their songs and wishing for a time to catch them live. Check out the new track California Letdown from Teddy Cosmo

  Some people are annoyed with the suggested posts as they are mindlessly scrolling through Instagram, but today, that is not me.  I saw a snippet of a song and immediately had to find out who it was and how to get the track. The song was called California Letdown and it was a new release from Teddy Cosmo. I had to find out more. It states the following on the profile: Teddy Cosmo musician, producer, podcaster, ♿cerebral palsy, wheelchair user, Berklee College of Music and from NYC. The song is amazing, the vocals remind me of a young Morrissey but with a modern production that captures the depth and tones of the emotions. Ron Gallo is a must see out on his Foreground Music Live Tour

Mondays can always be hard to get through, but not when you know you are catching Ron Gallo’s show at night. We couldn’t wait for the day to end so we could find ourselves at one of our favorite venues, The Brick and Mortar in San Francisco. The night was even better when we found out that Life Size Models were opening the show. We were excited to check out their new music and they kicked the night off with a high energy set. It was a fantastic night and Ron Gallo put on a performance that highlighted his edgy blend of alt-punk rock vibes. He is like a punk rock Bob Dylan and I am here for it ALL! His music is so damn catchy and you can’t hold yourself still. You need to MOVE and feel the energy that he brings to life.
