Photo gallery: Avatar live in Munich at the Tonhalle
The Swedish visionaries of Avatar returned to Munich last week. This time, they played a bigger venue, the Tonhalle, and managed to sell it out completely in advance! The atmosphere was, as always, loaded with anticipation, and the “citizens of Avatar country” were not disappointed. It was an energetic show that led through many albums of the band. Most of the songs, though, came from their recent record “Don’t Go In The Forest”, but they also played all-time favorites like “The Eagle Has Landed” and “Bloody Angel”. After almost two hours, they closed their set with two more fan favorites, “Smells Like A Freakshow” and “Hail the Apocalypse”.
