Hunter Valentine release video for Nowhere to Run to help STOMP Out Bullying!

October is Anti Bullying month where we try to bring attention and STOMP Out Bullying. Sadly, it was only two years ago this month where we brought you the tragic story of Amanda Todd’s suicide due to bullying. Many artists and musicians are doing what they can to raise awareness to bullying and help to eradicate it! One of my favorite new bands, Hunter Valentine have released a music video for their song, Nowhere to Run as they teamed together with STOMP Out Bullying in an effort to raise awareness this October. The video is stellar and the song is truly touching and provides hope to those who struggle or are facing any challenges. Ashestoangels release two new music videos from upcoming album Horror Cult

The first time I heard about the Gothic Punk Rock band Ashestoangels from the UK was during my interview with William Control earlier this year. He was telling us about how he had been working with Ashestoangels producing their upcoming album, Horror Cult. I have been excited for it’s release and am pleased to announce that they have released two new music videos for songs from their upcoming album. The first is Six Six Six and Crilly explains,  “It’s been a while since we’ve released anything new so we knew we had to deliver something intense. The song is like a prelude to the whole album, it’s frantic and energetic and the video is a visual representation of that. Interview with Laura Petracca of Hunter Valentine and catch her out on the Ladykillers Tour!

Like many others, I was first introduced to the music of Hunter Valentine through Linda Perry Project, Make Or Break on Vh1. From the first episode, I was enamored with their style and music. It was wonderful to watch them grown throughout the show and to hear their new song, Burn With It. Don’t mistake them for a new band,they have been pounding the pavement for 10 years and have a very dedicated fanbase. Once you take a listen, you will immediately fall in love with their music. I wish I had only heard of them sooner. Interview with Jeff Berman of Divided Heaven at he makes a stop in San Francisco

    This past Friday, we made it out to the DNA Lounge for a great night of music which included everything from acoustic to punk rock. Check out our coverage of all the bands here: Dead Frets, Travis Hayes and the Young Daze, ToyGuitar and of course Divided Heaven  which is the music project of Jeff Berman. This tour, he has full band in tow and they delivered an incredible energetic set of indie punk.  We had the opportunity to talk with Jeff before his set and are pleased to bring you that interview here: Jeff recently started his Youngblood Tour in support of his new album, Youngblood which was released earlier this year on Say 10 Records. toyGuitar bring their high energy set to the DNA Lounge

Friday night we were treated to a night of great music. It started off with an acoustic set by  Dead Frets, then onto a fantastic indie punk set by Divided Heaven and then a spectacular set by Travis Hayes and the Young Daze. Singer/songwriter Travis Hayes. The night ended on a true to DNA form, old school punk rock set by toyGuitar. toyGuitar from San Francisco is truly a hidden treasure. I believe they might be fairly new, which I am hoping since my lack of unfamiliarity with this awesome band. They came out and performed an energetic quick paced set that fueled the Above DNA room into a frenzied mosh/dance mayhem. Catch Hunter Valentine out on the Ladykillers Tour!

Like many others, I was first introduced to the music of Hunter Valentine through Linda Perry Project, Make Or Break on Vh1. From the first episode, I was enamored with their style and music. It was wonderful to watch them grown throughout the show and to hear their new song, Burn With It. They were definitely a band that I wanted to look further into and hopefully catch them live. When you watch them perform, they bring out such a raw yet electric energy that I have been craving. With the departure of Aimee during the show, Laura and Kiyomi are back and as fierce as ever. Their sexy power rock is ready to grab a hold of you and shake up your world. They are going to be setting out on the Ladykiller Tour with several dates announced so far.
