Kyng gives San Francisco a dose of rock and roll

Earlier this week, the Hell Pop tour came in to  San Francisco and on the bill was All Hail the Yeti, Kyng, Motionless in White and In This Moment. One of the highlights of the night was Kyng. The last time I saw Kyng was when they played the Dean NAMM Jam which is typically filled with buyers, distributors, vendors, artists and not your typical rock audience but Kyng killed it that night. Despite the audience who many remained in their seats, we were standing up and rocking out and enjoying every minute of it! This time, they were playing at The Regency Ballroom and they came out and delivered another high energy filled set. These three guys truly create a powerful sound and you can’t help but rock out in full fist in the air, headbanging style. French Metal band DAGOBA takes over San Francisco!

WOW! I know I told you about DAGOBA coming to San Francisco to open up for returning metal band, Dir En Grey but you can’t believe how awesome they were!  I have been looking forward to seeing DAGOBA live since we have been playing a lot of their heavy songs from their latest album, LP “Post Mortem Nihil Est.” It was recently released here in the US only a couple weeks ago and on Sunday night they came to The Regency Ballroom on the Ghoul 2013 Tour with Dir En Grey.  We had the opportunity to interview Shawter, composer and singer for DAGOBA and here is that interview: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RM9l9-p-PQ&feature=youtu.be]   They really came out and put on an amazing show. French Metal band DAGOBA release new video for “The Great Wonder”

I have been really digging the new music by French metal band, DAGOBA! Even though they have been around since 1997, they are finally getting the recognition and attention they deserve here in the States. They have just released their new video for “The Great Wonder” which is off of their new  LP “Post Mortem Nihil Est,” that will be available here in the US on November 5th. They kind of remind me of a mix of Five Finger Death Punch and All that Remains. Trivium unleashed themselves in San Francisco

Last week on October 15th Trivium gave a hell of a show at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. We got there in time to see DevilDriver open up for them and they did a kick ass show as well.  Then Trivium came out and just unleashed their ferocious selves on San Francisco! It was great to watch and see the action in the pit as well as everyone around. They were all having a great time. Check out a tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together to “BLACK” that includes footage and photos from the night. Candlelight Red came through San Francisco on March 30, 2013 as they played with Sevendust, Lacuna Coil, and Coal Chamber.  We had the opportunity to interview Ryan Hoke and Jeremy Edge, right before their show at the Regency Ballroom. I was supposed to head out there but got tied up with a family emergency.  This was Javier Rivas’s first interview for us and he went with Rockin Ryan andhere is that interview.
