You’re Insane if you missed Escape the Fate at their Sacramento show

We were able to catch Escape The Fate twice in one week last month. First we caught them performing to a sold out crowd at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Bury the Hatchet Tour with Falling in Reverse, Chelsea Grin and Survive This! We then caught them at a packed house at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for a show with Eve to Adam, New Years Day and Track Fighter. It was great to see Escape the Fate headlining the show at the Ace of Spades. It was packed with a crowd of all ages as everyone song along and the energy was magnetic. Of course the highlight for us was to see the return of Max “The Ripper” Green as he pounded out slamming bass lines and moved around the stage like a fierce animal. So many times on tours, people tend to neglect arriving early enough to catch the opening band. Well, if Survive This! is on as the opener, you better do everything humanly possible to get there ON TIME! These guys know how to deliver a high energy set and get any crowd pumped. We saw them as they opened up for Chelsea Grin, Escape the Fate and Falling in Reverse during the Bury the Hatchet Tour on their stop in San Francisco. We arrived early enough and were treated to their adrenaline filled set where you are captivated by the stage presence. Their music can be described as a blend of electronic and metal sprinkled with catchy melodies. They are definitely creating their unique sound and style. In This Moment signs to Atlantic Records and NEW album is in the WORKS!

In This Moment have just announced that they have signed with major record label, Atlantic Records. They are currently working on a new album and are set to have a new single out for us by mid year. We do not have much more information to report as we wait for the official press release with more details but we will continue to keep you updated. We had the opportunity to catch In This Moment last year on their Hell Pop Tour as well as Aftershock Festival, both amazing shows!!! As you know, Maria Brink on vocals has excellent stage presence. For the first time I saw her live, I had dubbed her the Metal Version of Lady Gaga, she just has a presence that you can’t ignore. Her vocals are spot on and is definitely a crowd pleaser. Dir En Grey captivates San Francisco crowd and an interview with Toshiya

Last month we had the pleasure of catching Dir En Grey as they returned to San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom. It was a full night of incredible metal to include amazing opener Dagoba. This was at the tail end of their spectacular 14 date tour in North America. Dir En Grey once again put on a world class, cross cultural performance. This Japanese quintet has a strong and dedicated following and when we arrived, we got to see many of their dedicated fans waiting outside in line for hours to get in decked out with their theatrical Dir En Grey makeup.
