  Last year we brought you an interview with one of the fastest rising bands that we wanted you to take notice of, Righteous Vendetta.   It seems that the spotlight on them has grown in the last several months and we are glad to see this Hard Rock/Mettal band, Righteous Vendetta get the attention they so deserve. We have been glad to see them getting great radio airplay as well as on XM Sirius Octane channel with their song This Pain. PALAYE ROYALE WIN FINAL ROUND OF 2014 MTV MUSICAL MARCH MADNESS!!!

Here you go! PALAYE ROYALE just made history and I have never doubted them for a second!  We wrote about PALAYE ROYALE last year and simply titled them “The Best Indie Rock Band out Today That You Have to Hear“. Well I am glad to see that they are continuing to get the praise and recognition that they truly deserve.  Most recently, PALAYE ROYALE was the only unsigned band to be nominated in the MTV Musical March Madness. That is not where they stopped, they deserve to be at the Top and that is exactly where they are headed. This year it is the 5th Annual MTV Musical March Madness and we were ecstatic to see them make it through the following rounds: Round 1  beating out Vampire Weekend Round 2  beating out Coldplay Round 3 beating out Bastille Round 4 beating out Tokio Hotel Round 5 beating out We Are The In Crowd Round 6 beating Linkin Park   They DID IT!!! Smash Mouth is our Bottle Rock Napa 2014 Featured Band of the Day

  Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Smash Mouth. This band does not need any introduction as almost all of us at one time or another cranked up “All Star” and sang out loud at the top of our lungs. I have always had a love affair with Smash Mouth since they bring out the fun side in me and capture the perfect essence of summer! AEROSMITH & SLASH ANNOUNCE TOUR DATES and play surprise show at The Whisky a Go Go

What better way to announce the tour dates for the upcoming Aerosmith & Slash summer tour than playing a surprise show at The Whisky a GoGo in Hollywood. Well that is exactly what happened today. I was sitting in my doctor’s office as I get the tweet announcing Slash is set to perform with Aerosmith at the Whisky. I almost ran out there until I remembered I hadn’t succeeded at my teleportation transit yet! Augustana release new video for “Youth Is Wasted On The Young”

Augustana are set to release their new album Life Imitating Life on April 22nd through Washington Square. The album was produced by John O’Mahony (Coldplay, Metric, Kashmir) and recorded in Rhinebeck, NY and Nashville, TN.  This will be the fourth full length album and the first for Washington Square. The album will take the listener on a musical journey with passionate, poetic songs that are emotionally driven and tell a powerful story.  Augustana have released a video for their second song of the album, Youth Is Wasted On The Young. Guitar Legend NEAL SCHÖN releases new video EXOTICA from forthcoming album with Marco Mendoza and Deen Castronovo

Guitar Legend Neal Schön best known as co-founding member and lead guitarist of Journey has teamed up with bassist Marco Mendoza (Black Star Riders, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey, Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Hardline). Together they are set to release their forthcoming album “SO U” on May 19th through Frontier Records. The album which is described as a jazz and blues inspired hard rock studio album can be pre-ordered now  via iTunes, Amazonand via theJourney online store; which will include the download of their new track “Exotica”.
