PHOTO GALLERY: King Shelter in San Francisco at Rickshaw Stop

October 4, 2016

King Shelter is from Orange County, California and has been described as a “Salad-Rock” band as they deliver  “a healthy mixture of rock, consisting of surf, grunge, alternative and anything in between. With the obvious layers of intertwining genres (or ingredients, like a salad) creating a unique sound, they also bring their complex lyrics and ideas to remind listeners to think for themselves and that no one person is better than another-in other words, it’s music made for the people, by the people.”  They have just released their new song, Everything Hurts which Taylor Hecocks comments, “‘Everything Hurts’ is my grandfather’s story. Life is hard. The American dream isn’t really a dream; it’s a vortex of preoccupations. But after all is said and done, the corner store is still gonna be selling those sweet cowboy killers n vodka. For the Krispis giveth and the Krispis taketh away.”  Check out the track here: [soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/281238489″ params=”auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”450″ iframe=”true” /]   They recently made a stop in San Francisco and performed at The Rickshaw Stop.
