New video for Showtime brings the spotlight on the budding young superstar Kyla Imani

Kyla Imani became a viral sensation with her kid’s version of Beyonce’s 7/11 but it is her own music that really captures your attention. The young budding superstar is set to release her EP on October 20th. 13 year old Kyla has released a music video for her song, Showtime. She comments about the video, “‘Showtime’ is really about my love of performing and how I do what I love to do! The concept for the video is that me, Kyla the fan, is at a concert where Kyla Imani the artist is performing. And as this is all happening, Kyla the director is filming it all. Soren Bryce shines with her new video for Ride With You

The amazing songstress Soren Bryce has a voice that truly will captivate you. Her emotions dance on her melodies and delivers an edge to her folk style. She has just released a music video for her track, Ride With You.  The video was Directed by Devereaux Milburn and Bryce explains, “I was stoked that there was a director out there who responded to the darkness in “Ride With You.” It comes off as an uplifting, ‘I’ve got your back’ type song. Los Angeles. I have talked here about the “Canadian Invasion” – the flow of talented musicians from Canada to the US that seems to be a permanent fixture of the music scene in both countries.  We have interviewed many of them here – Maggie Szabo, Olivia Penalva and the band YUCA are three that come to mind.  Recently I was introduced to the music of another Canadian, Kalsey Kulyk. Kulyk is from a tiny town on the Hudson Bay of 1500 souls, but her talent is much, much bigger.  After a very rough bout with cancer and chemotherapy when she was 19, she moved to Las Vegas to work with famed record producer, Richard Dashut (Fleetwood Mac).  Dashut saw her potential and developed her style and sound so deftly that she landed a record deal with Phaymis Records.
