Allow me to introduce you to what will definitely become your new favorite band, Echo Black. Hailing from New York and bringing an industrial dark edge to their rock, they have been capturing the attention of rockers, pop lovers, and metal heads across the country. They are currently out on tour with Combichrist and The Birthday Massacre and they recently made a stop in San Francisco at Slim’s. They delivered a highly energetic set that got the crowd off their feet and ready for their explosive music. You can’t help but get drawn into their web of dark, deliciously fierce music. The Spill Canvas stop in San Francisco for their One Fell Swoop 10 Year Anniversary Tour By Valeria Rosa

The Spill Canvas made one of their stops for their One Fell Swoop tour at Slim’s in San Francisco on August 7th, 2015. The opening act was a band known as Owl Paws consisting of the band members Derek Schultz, Timothy Vickers, and Lucas Siobal. The crowd reacted positively to Owl Paws acoustic-style set, which led up to The Spill Canvas performance. The audience waiting for The Spill Canvas was large and lively. They got along well with each other socializing and enjoying the music. Many of their fans talked about how they have loved The Spill Canvas since high school. The Spill Canvas did not disappoint. They delivered an amazing performance to their loyal fans. One of their fans even showed her appreciation by throwing her underwear at singer Nick Thomas. Girlschool deliver a night of non-stop rock on their Guilty As Sin Tour

If you love Rock and Roll, Sunday night at Slim’s in San Francisco was the place to be. Girlschool was bringing their Guilty As Sin Tour to San Francisco and it was one non-stop rockin night. The night started off with a set from Velvet Black and they bring a blues infused swamp rock style to their sound. It is energetic and addictive. The powerful trio are from Canada and they definitely have me looking forward to checking them out further. Next up was Old James from Canada. These guys came out and ROCKED the house. They had the energy of early Van Halen with a Ted Nugent vibe and wrapped in guitar heavy hard rock. They were fierce as they captivated the crowd, who might not have been familiar with their music. The EP was released yesterday and really displays the great musicianship of this band and how they have evolved through their sound. They really bring out the passion in their songs as well as when they perform live. This is a band that speaks volumes of truth in their music and give you a good dose of hard ROCK at the same time. Watch Heaven’s Basement new music video for Lights Out in London

UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement have released their music video for their straight up Rock track, Lights Out In London. The song is off their highly acclaimed Filthy Empire album which is out on Red Bull Records. The song is one of my favorites as it really highlights how these four talented musicians know how to kick ass and bring the life back in to Rock n Roll. They have had quite a year with extensive touring and we can’t wait for them to return to California. Heaven’s Basement returns to the US for Festival tour Dates and more!

2013 was a KICK ASS year for UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement and 2014 is proving to be another spectacular year for them as they are in high demand. They recently returned to the UK for their “Welcome Home” Headlining tour and had to cancel several dates on the tour due to mandated vocal rest for vocalist Aaron Buchanan. They are set to return back to the US for this year’s Rock on The Range and Rocklahom festivals and more.
