We bring the spotlight on a kick ass band that we saw in San Francisco a couple years back opening for Girlschool. We are excited to hear that they are still killing it with their straight up rock dipped in metal. The band is the Canadian power trio Old James. Joe Perry returns to the stage as The Hollywood Vampires ROCK Rohnert Park with a sensational set!

We are excited to share with you the wonderful news that guitarist extraordinaire Joe Perry returned to the stage last night with the Hollywood Vampires. The venue Weill Hall Green Music Center in Rohnert Park in Rohnert Park was packed as everyone awaited the arrival of the Hollywood Vampires. It is a beautiful venue on the grounds of Sonoma State University that not only houses an indoor venue but the show is enjoyed by thousands who are enjoying the concert at tables on one of the grassy terraces, or on their own blankets or folding chairs on the lawn. The show kicked off with a short entertaining video introduction that highlights the musicians that they are playing tribute to and the crowd went wild as they went right into performing their song, Raise the Dead. Alice Cooper, the iconic pioneer of shock rock, has been entertaining and shocking audiences for over 40 years and there is no slowing down in sight. This year he has successfully balanced two tours, one with his Alice Cooper band and the other his super group, the Hollywood Vampires featuring Johnny Depp and Joe Perry. This Friday Alice will be performing with Hollywood Vampires at the Weill Hall Green Music Center in Rohnert Park. The show which includes a strong set of pure hard rock, paying tribute to their musical influences, their big brothers, their “dead drunk friends” as Alice comments.
