Delta Rose release new Epiphone Video and catch them at upcoming show!

February 5, 2014

Delta Rose baby! That is the band that I am hoping that you already know by now. We featured them last year during our Golden Gods Awards Coverage, Warped Tour Featured band as well as them being our Day 5  of our 12 Days of Bands You Have to Know. So I am hoping you have been paying close attention and are already familiar with these bad ass rockers… Delta Rose! These guys not only bring the old school rock and roll back to life with their young vibrant personalities but are also one of the hardest working bands on the scene.  They are not only busy playing shows all over Southern California but we even caught them performing at the Gibson booth during NAMM 2014.  They are an awesome band  that you can’t help but fall in love with them. Delta Rose also keeps their fans up to date on their fun antics through their Epiphone Vlog that will have you cracking up every time. Here is their new one for you, “The Deal”: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=/fdVC4MVsXN0&feature=youtu.be]   [Read More]

State Line Empire rocks the Whisky during NAMM week

February 3, 2014

One thing I really enjoy during NAMM week is catching an awesome concert after a long day walking the floors of the Anaheim Convention Center.  During our NAMM week, we had long days and then even longer nights. On Saturday night, right after NAMM closed, we headed down to Hollywood. We got there in time so we could catch our friends in State Line Empire perform.  State Line Empire were playing at the Whisky-A-GoGo for one of their 50th Anniversary shows along with Fault Line, Jetboy and Faster Pussycat. Well, State Line Empire definitely put on a great show that night and even played some of their new songs, especially my favorite; “Raise Your Sins”.  Rockin Ryan was running around photographing the night and he even ran it Jinxx of Black Veil Brides who came out for the show. Ryan asked Jinxx after State Line Empire‘s set about the night and he shared with Ryan how much he loves the Whisky and it’s atmosphere and also how good State Line Empire’s set was!  Of course, [Read More]

Interview with Justin Emord of Love and a .38 at NAMM 2014

January 31, 2014

Another one of our favorite bands that we found at NAMM is Love and a .38. They are truly one of the hardest working bands in Los Angeles and have a tight family (fan) base that extends across the country!  We ran into bassist, Justin Emord at the Hipshot Products booth at NAMM 2014. We were able to grab for a quick interview as he had his bass, Aurora on display. Check out our interview here: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5AZhkndNeY&feature=youtu.be]   We are excited to head down for Love and a .38’s upcoming show at the Troubadour in Hollywood on February 15th.  Now I think I am going to have to crank up some Love and  a .38 and I know the perfect song…. “Just a Woman”. That song is so bad ass and has such a bluesy classic rock sound to it and I just fell in love with it instantly. It has a great chorus that makes me want to cruise out on the open highway with no worries and my Love and a .38 turned up loud. If [Read More]

Countdown of 14 Bands That Will Rule 2014, #2 goes to Steel Panther!

December 23, 2013

We made it to the #2 Spot and it is time to have some F**KING FUN with our Rock N Roll!! So for #2 I bring you Steel Panther!  2014 is going to be a very big year for Steel Panther. They are set to release their highly anticipated new album, “All You Can Eat“. Steel Panther fans or should I say Fanthers, have been anxiously waiting for new music to follow up their highly successful last album, Balls Out. Some may only know Steel Panther as a parody band personifying the glam/metal lifestyles of the ’80s but you may know that they are DAMN talented musicians. Michael Starr on Vocals has one of the best vocal ranges and his high notes will have you thinking you are on the Sunset Strip in 1985. Lexxi Foxxx pounds out some slamming bass as he whips his hair and primps in the mirror. Satchel on guitar embodies a true Guitar God, with the moves, stage presence and he KICKS ASS on the guitar. His solo will have [Read More]
