Kate Bollinger Mesmerizes in San Francisco Sold Out Show

Kate Bollinger brought her soothing, melodic indie pop to life in front of a sold-out crowd at The Independent in San Francisco. The evening began with an engaging set by Pregnant, the music project of Daniel Trudeau, setting the tone for a great night of music. Rockers Quarters of Change pack the Independent for their Portraits Tour

  The Independent was packed last night as alt rockers Quarters of Change brought their Portraits tour to San Francisco. This was one tour we have been anxiously awaiting arrival of.  The fans arrived early as the line wrapped around the block ahead of entry. The all ages show filled the venue from front to back. The night kicked off with an energetic set by Bay Area alt/indie band High Sunn. They got the crowd warmed up and dancing in no time. When Quarters of Change arrived on the stage, they were like a shot of adrenaline electrifying the crowd with their high energy performance. All eyes were on the band as they captivated the crowd with their talent and stage presence. They blew us away by playing Tightrope second song in, and it sounded every bit as good as the studio recording, and with extra dose of energy of the live performance took it to the top. The Dirty Nil takeover The Independent in San Francisco for stellar performance

Tuesday night we headed to the Independent in San Francisco to catch the co-headlining tour of The Dirty Nil and Daniel Romano’s Outfit, along with opener Wander. The Dirty Nil had released their album Free Rein to Passions and San Francisco was one of the last few stops of their US/Canada tour.  We arrived early and caught the local opener Wander and they gave us a fierce instrumental rock set.  Daniel Romano’s Outfit blew us away with their fun and engaging set. The crowd was ready to rock as The Dirty Nil took the stage. The energy in the room ramped up even more as the trio kicked off their set with adrenaline blazing. They were incredible! Bay Area instrumental rock band Wander perform at The Independent

Tuesday night in San Francisco had us at The Indendent and it was quite a night of 3 spectacular sets!  The Dirty Nil were performing with Daniel Romano’s Outfit.  Kicking the night off was local Bay Area instrumental rock band Wander. Being an avid devotee of lyrics and vocalists, I didn’t know what to expect with an instrumental band. What a great surprise Wander turned out to be!  These guys can truly rock! They delivered a mesmerizing blend of progressive, heavy shredding rock with streaks of shoegaze and 90’s vibes.  Combined it was a winning combination that had me glued to their set. Their stage presence was full of energy and had the crowd cheering after each song. I was hooked and have now added them to some of my favorite newly discovered bands. JACK in San Francisco at The Independent

The Blue Stones returned to San Francisco last week for their show at The Independent and once again they brought incredible openers; The Velveteers and JACK. We were glad to arrive early because JACK blew us away with their set. Singer Songwriter Jack Osborn had a charismatic energy that was highlighted with each song he sang. The Velveteers ROCK The Independent in San Francisco!

    One of the up and coming bands we have been following The Velveteers made it to San Francisco this past week. They were opening up for The Blue Stones at the Independent.  We have heard so many rave reviews about their live shows that we couldn’t wait to finally experience it ourselves.  One thing is certain, they exceeded our high expectations for a full on ROCK SHOW! The energy of the dueling drums and the shredding guitar with captivating vocals had us completely mesmerized from start to finish.  They had the crowd in awe of their performance as the adrenaline raced through the room and the fans reciprocated with screams and cheers. It was a mighty set that we will not soon forget.
