Anberlin premiere music video for Stranger Ways

July 20, 2014

Anberlin have been busy kicking ass on this year’s Vans Warped Tour. They are set to release their new album lowborn on July 22nd via Tooth & Nail Records and follow it up with a farewell world tour. This album brings Anberlin full circle as lowborn will be released on Tooth & Nail, the first record label to which Anberlin was signed. Instead of recording the album together, the musicians did their parts with separate producers they each selected. Drums were recorded with Matt Goldman in Atlanta and later combined with bass and guitar in Lakeland, FL with Copeland’s Aaron Marsh. Vocals were recorded with the band’s longtime collaborator Aaron Sprinkle in Franklin, TN.  They have recently released a video for Stranger Ways. Check it out here: Consisting of Stephen Christian (vocals), Joseph Milligan (guitar), Deon Rexroat (bass), Nathan Young (drums), and Christian McAlhaney (guitar), Anberlin have been a band for 12 years. The rock group formed in central Florida in 2002 and have released six innovative and sincere albums that have affected fans in deeply emotional ways. lowborn will be the band’s seventh and final full-length. “Usually breakups happen quickly and suddenly, an implosion of sorts,” McAlhaney [Read More]

The Family Ruin set to release debut album, Dearly Departed on Sept. 23rd on KBB Records

July 17, 2014

The UK bad ass band, The Family Ruin were recently confirmed as support to Crown The Empire on their headlining fall tour. The ‘Welcome To The Resistance Tour’ begins August 30th in Anaheim, CA. Special guests on this run will also include Volumes, Secrets, and Ice Nine Kills. Earlier this year we announced the signing of The Family Ruin to KBB Records which is the new record label of Ben Bruce and Kyle Borman. The Family Ruin have a very fresh new sound complete with hard and heavy riffs blended with infectious harmonies, where they blend their metal and alternative influences with melodic hard rock. There is something for everyone in their sound. Think about a mix of Avenged Sevenfold with Escape the Fate. The Family Ruin have announced details about their new album which is titled, Dearly Departed. The album will be released on KBB Records on September 23rd. Check out the cool album cover and track listing for it here: 01. Bring Out Your Dead 02. Leech 03. Cirque Du Sin 04. Let’s Go 05. [Read More]

Buckcherry’s new EP F*ck is set for an August 19th release!

July 16, 2014

Buckcherry have just announced that their new EP which is titled…. FUCK is set for an August 19th release! You may be wondering about the title but there is much more to the four letter word title. “This is a tribute to the word ‘fuck’… Over the years, we’ve been told so many times to get away from the honesty that makes this band special. It’s a part of who I am. It’s not about the profanity itself; it’s about using it cleverly.” – Josh Todd posted on their Facebook page.   One thing is for sure, I am really looking forward to this EP. Buckcherry have always made the music that they wanted to and have maintained to keep the honesty in their music. So I applaud them again for continuing to keep themselves grounded and making great music!  Pre-orders for the new EP are available now by visiting here:  http://buckcherry.com/fuck-ep-out-aug-19-pre-order-now. We are excited to see that Buckcherry are returning to this year’s Monster Energy Aftershock in Sacramento on September 14th. They will also be performing [Read More]

Pistol Day Parade exceed all my expectations as they open for Ted Nugent on the Shut Up and Jam Tour!

July 16, 2014

We recently told you about the spectacular set that Ted Nugent put on for his Shut Up & Jam Tour this past weekend in Sunday. Now when you have such a excellent showman as Ted performing, not just any opening rock band will do. You need to have one that delivers an intense set and at 150% power overload.  Ted Nugent surely picked out the perfect band to open for him. One of our favorite rock bands, Pistol Day Parade was chosen for the opening slot on the tour. We made it out to the July 13th show at the Grove in Anaheim. Let me tell you, we were exhausted after the 7-1/2 hour drive but as soon as we made it to the venue, our spirits and energy picked right up. We had the opportunity to chat with Pistol Day Parade before their set. We are pleased to bring you that interview here: Shortly after our interview the guys made it to the stage and they kicked off the set with high energy. I have been [Read More]
