For this week’s Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week, we bring you Barren Womb from Norway! Barren Womb have just released their lyric video for their song, “Kill Hicks”. The fast rising hardcore band which can be described as a hardcore blend of anything from punk to country. It is their unique sound that is having listeners from a variety of genres take a good listen and get hooked. Here we are on our first Tuesday Travels Pick of the Week for 2014!!!! Let’s start it off with an awesome alternative style metal band, BatAAr from Gothenburg, Sweden. They truly have a unique sound that blends everything from metal to punk, electronic to deathcore. They call their style “Art Metal” and it definitely will grab you and have you wanting to hear more. BatAAr just finished up their first ever Japan tour and it was quite successful. They definitely gained tons of new fans and we can’t wait for them to announce new tour dates…. hoping for some US dates soon. BatAAr is Seb on Vocals, Patrik on Guitar, Simon on Guitar, Jake on Bass and Tobias on Drums. Check out their video for my favorite song of theirs, The Distance which can be purchases on Itunes here. Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week for Rock is CURRAN from UK

For our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week, I am excited to bring you CURRAN from the UK. They have an awesome rock n roll sound that will have you hooked from the first listen. CURRAN is Mark Curran on Vocals, Mat Anthony on Guitar, Dean Roberts on Rhythm Guitar, Enrico Terella on Bass and Kris Rich on Drums. Check out their video for their song, “Run Back to You” I just love that song. It has such a bluesy rock vibe and the vocals remind me of one of my all-time favorite vocalists, Tom Keifer. It has a great build up on the intro that is perfect for a stadium show. I love the gritty guitars and the solos are bad ass. I bet you want more? NO!! I KNOW YOU WANT MORE!!
