Check out Mariachi Muerto for some Latin style Rap/Rock

How about something a little different for your musical tastebuds? How about checking out some Latin style Rap/Rock with the band Mariachi Muerto from Corpus Christi, TX. Mariachi Muerto is Ruben A Lopez on Lead Vocals, Mark A Pantoja on Rhythm Guitar, Lee Roy Lerma on Drums, and Roger Vela on Bass. They released a video for their song, Who We Are and the video was shot and edited by Mando Lujan from “In My Room Productions”. We recently shared with you the music video by renowned guitarist Marty Friedman for the title track, Inferno which is off his highly anticipated forthcoming album. The album is set to release in North America on May 27th. Now he is back to unveil another new track off Inferno. This time it is the song, Meat Hook which features “blackjazz” rebel Jørgen Munkeby (Shining) on vocals and saxophone. Australia Pop Rock band New Empire’s new album “In a Breath” OUT NOW!

Australian band New Empire is definitely garnering a lot of attention for their pop rock music. Their new album In a Breath is out today via Tooth & Nail Records. Their style is a blend of pop and alternative rock, complete with energetic songs brimming with catchy choruses and emotionally driven lyrics. This album is definitely a must have and is filled with songs for your every mood. The album starts off with what might be my favorite song, the emotionally stirring Tale of Jonah. It captures such a vulnerability in the vocals that soothes you.
