Like Monroe signs a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music!

We are excited to share with you some great news about one of our featured bands, Like Monroe have just announced they have inked a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music. Guitarist, Chris Deckards says, “We are excited and honored to join the eOne / Good Fight family. This is honestly a dream come true for all of us and we can’t wait to share our music with the world. We have been writing this album our whole career as musicians and we can’t wait to share our experience, strength and hope with all of you.” The yet to be titled LP is set for a Summer release and will be produced by Drew Fulk who is known for his work with Motionless In White & Upon a Burning Body. ATTENTION Southern California: Don’t miss While She Waits this weekend!

We hope that Southern California is ready to catch one of our favorite bands, While She Waits on their upcoming shows. While She Waits was our Number 8 on our Countdown of 14 Bands that will rule 2014 and they are definitely proving to ring that true with a new album on the horizon. Falling in Reverse delivers another great show in San Francisco

They did it again! Falling In Reverse put on another great show on their stop in San Francisco for the Bury the Hatchet tour. Even though we were the second to the last stop of the tour, we were treated to them performing at 150% and their non stop energy set. I have been to many opening sets for tours as well as closing and it does seem that some bands really trail off when they are down to the last couple days. Almost as if they can taste the freedom and joys of sleeping in their own beds, long showers and days that have yet to be planned. Well for the boys in Falling in Reverse, they really do show that performing is when they feel most at home because they really come on just as strong as their first show in Los Angeles. Scorpions release acoustic version of “Rock You Like a Hurricane” from MTV Unplugged

International legendary rockers, Scorpions recently released the CD/DVD Blue Ray of their MTV Unplugged CD/DVD package. The material is from the Scorpions‘ first-ever “MTV Unplugged show” and will feature new acoustic versions of their big hits and even five new songs! The sets were recorded and filmed on September 11th and 12th at Lycabettus Theatre in Athens, Greece. The spectacular open-air theatre, situated 300 meters above the city, was an impressive backdrop for the first-ever open-air show in the history of “MTV Unplugged” (the theatre also shares a birth year with the Scorpionsthemselves, having been built in 1965, the same year the Scorpions formed). The Scorpions is Klaus Meine (vocals/guitar), Rudolf Schenker (guitars/vocals), Matthias Jabs (guitars), Pawel Maciwoda (bass) and James Kottak (drums). Mikael Nord Andersson (guitars, mandolin, lap steel, vocals) and Martin Hansen (guitars, harmonica, vocals) are also providing additonal music support. It was last year when I first introduced you to the awesome band, Biters. Today they released another video and it is STELLAR! It is for their song “So Many Nights” which is off of their album, Last of a Dying Breed. The video is once again directed, shot and edited by Rahim. You are going to love this one.
