Christina Perri collaborates with To Write Love On Her Arms to release exclusive new TWLOHA shirt

The amazing non-profit organization, To Write Love On Her Arms has collaborated with singer/songwriter Christina Perri to release a brand new exclusive TWLOHA t-shirt which is now available for purchase. The front of the shirt reads, “Hold On I Am Still Alive” with “This is not the end of me, this is the beginning” behind it. Those are the lyrics from Christina’s song, “I Believe“, which is the final track on her new album, Head or Heart. She wrote “I Believe” with TWLOHA in mind and first performed it at TWLOHA’s HEAVY AND LIGHT. The complete song lyrics are printed on the inside of each shirt and can be purchased here.

At 16, Perri taught herself to play guitar by watching a videotape of the band Blind Melon performing on VH1. She later learned piano and was actively involved in musical theater. Perri’s first single, “Jar Of Hearts” was featured on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance in 2010, and peaked at number 28 on Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs list. The song’s success led to a record deal with Atlantic Records. Christina released her debut album Lovestrong, which premiered at number 4 on the Billboard 200, via Atlantic in 2011.
