Swedish retro rockers Casablanca have just released a lyric video for their new song, My Shadow Out Of Time which is off their upcoming album, Miskatonic Graffiti. The album was produced and recorded in the summer of 2014 in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden by Anders Ljung, Mats Rubarth, Erik Almström and Josephine Forsman, together with sound engineer Jon Bordon. It is a concept album broken into three sections, and based on the stories and events that take place in the small fictional town called “The Mountains.” The band describes the concept as if “Ziggy Stardust met H. P. Lovecraft in Twin Peaks.” The album is set to release this summer on Despotz Records. Check out the lyric video here:
The song along with it’s epic vocals and swirling guitars will have you begging for more. Time to crank it up loud and drift away into a rock and roll trance.  In regards to the new song, the band comments:
“First single from the Casablanca concept album Miskatonic Graffiti, ‘My Shadow out of Time’ is about memories of loss on a cosmic scale – of those left on the other side, gone forever? It’s about things left in the run, like shadows lost in time. Don’t we all lose a few shadows, while making our way through life?”
Casablanca is:
- Anders Ljung – vocals
- Josephine Forsman – drums
- Mats Rubarth – bass
- Erik Almström – guitar
- Erik Stenemo – guitar
- Ryan Roxie – guitar
