March 15, 2014

Today we start our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band and for today we bring you The Soft White Sixties. The Soft White Sixties from San Francisco are bringing a great soulful rock sound to the music scene that you have to take a listen to. Their style blends many of their influences from Soul, Rock and Roll, pop, R & B and have successfully fused it together in a contemporary sound. They have been gaining a lot of well deserved attention and are becoming well known for their spectacular live shows. They just completed performing 11 shows in 3 days for the SXSW 2014. I am very excited to see this band on the lineup for Bottle Rock Napa 2014. Interview with The Virginmarys as they tour with Buckcherry

March 15, 2014

The Virginmarys are currently out on tour with Buckcherry and we had the chance to catch them on their 2nd night of the tour at the Heritage Theater in Campbell, CA.  They had an amazing year in 2013 with their breakout success of their  debut album King of Conflict through Wind-Up Records.  Their song, Just a Ride has become everyone’s fave and it’s one bad ass track that delivers intense high energy that I LOVE! Shortly before their performance, we were able to catch up with the guys and are pleased to bring you that interview here:     The Virginmarys played to a sold out crowd at the Heritage Theater and their energy fueled the room. You may have heard that they are an incredible live band and sound just as awesome as their recordings and you know what? They are even better if that is possible! Here is their setlist of the night: Ally Dickaty on vocals and guitar is fierce as he bounces around and fills the room with emotionally driven lyrics. Matt Rose on [Read More]

Pop Evil & Escape The Fate announce CO-HEADLINING Tour set to start in April!

March 12, 2014

Two of my favorite bands are teaming up for a co-headlining tour. Just this morning we received the word that Pop Evil and Escape the Fate will be hitting the road in April.  We are hoping to see some West Coast dates added too since we need our fix of both these bad ass bands! The tour will also feature special guests Avatar and Glamour of the Kill. Pop Evil have been busy touring in support of their album ONYX as well as recently collaborating with legendary artist DMC who recently remixed their No. 1 hit single, Trenches.  The remix will be feature on the opening video montage prior to each game for the ACC Network telecasts. You can watch the video clip  here.  We also caught a quick interview with a couple of the guys at last year’s Aftershock Festival and we have some great photos you can check out here. March 11, 2014

We are still finishing up our coverage of all the bands we got to see at Lara Gladstone’s Gutter n Grind last month at the Troubadour. Tonight we wanted to feature Future Villains from Los Angeles. These supercharged rockers gave a high energy set that night and have everyone with their hands in the air rockin out. Future Villains are a modern rock band with noticeable influences in classic rock. They are definitely determined keep Rock n Roll alive. Check out a tribute video by Rockin Ryan featuring photos and footage of their set at the Troubadour:   If you are in the Southern California area, make sure to check them out as they will be playing at The Viper Room in Hollywood on March 14th.
