A Day to Remember New CD/DVD, Video and Aftershock Highlights

Another band that we saw at Aftershock Festival in September and always entertaining is A Day To Remember. They really put on an excellent crowd pleasing show. They will now have their 16 track album, Common Courtesy available on-line and in retailers on November 25th, 2013! The Halo Method takeover the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood Nov. 7th!

The Halo Method is a rock band from Hollywood & Nashville and is definitely one you have to be on the look out for. They are rapidly gaining recognition and I am so glad to see it all happen. I first heard them a couple months back and put them on my list of bands to keep a close eye on. Well of course, things have been so busy that I haven’t taken the time to look at that list. Then, I heard their name again in an interview with Jonny Hetherington of Art of Dying and was so glad I did. Even in those short months, they have accomplished a lot. They have been busy working on their debut EP that will take the music world by storm. Strange Talk from Australia set to play San Francisco Nov. 5th!

Strange Talk, eletropop band from Melbourne, Australia is coming to San Francisco next week! They will be performing at Brick & Mortar on November 5th, 2013. You can more details on tickets at their website. Strange Talk is set to release their self-produced debut album Cast Away in early 2014 via Wind-Up Records. They have their debut single, “Climbing Walls” is out on radio play now. These guys have a great new refreshing sound. They blend a bit of the eighties pop with a touch of 90’s electro and then wrapped into their own edgy style. Children of Bodom announce Halo of Blood Tour for North America

Children of Bodom have just announced their Halo of Blood Tour is coming across North America. We are glad to see that they will be having a stop here in San Francisco on February 28th at The Fillmore. They have announced the dates and they will have TYR from Faroe Islands on tour with them. An additional special guest has not been announced.Tickets are available here. Currently Children of Bodom are touring in Spain and Portugal. We will keep you updated as we get more news but for now mark your calendars to catch the show nearest you! Volbeat photo and video highlights from Aftershock

Aftershock Festival was amazing with over 30+ bands in the two days and over 35,000 attendees. Many of those fans were there to see the amazing show that Volbeat put on. I have seen Volbeat five times but this was the first time that I got to see Rob Caggiano play with them. It was an awesome set and they sounded so spot on! They played my favorites Fallen, A Warrior’s Call and my new favorite, Lola Montez. I just love that song soooo much.
