The Runarounds Capture Youthful Nostalgia in New Video for “Bleachers”

May 13, 2026

Indie rockers The Runarounds are continuing their big breakout year with the release of the new music video for “Bleachers,” and it perfectly captures that feeling of being young and wanting those moments to last forever. The track brings together their indie melodies with a nostalgic feeling that instantly takes you back to late night drives, sneaking out, first loves, and all those memories that stay with you as you get older and sometimes long for. It has that emotional energy that makes you want to roll the windows down and just live in the moment. One of the coolest parts about the video is that it features real fans during the performance scenes filmed at The Commodore in Charleston, South Carolina. That gives the video a genuine feeling and really shows the connection the band has with their fans. Drummer Zendé Murdock said  “We had such a blast filming our latest music video! Thanks to our incredible team, we were able to find little pockets of time over a couple days on tour to film [Read More]

Finding a Kindred Spirit: Jody Glenham’s “Overtime”

January 16, 2026

Sometimes you stumble across an artist at exactly the right moment — and that’s what happened when I first heard Jody Glenham. I came across her music while scrolling on Instagram, hit play on her new song Overtime, and instantly found myself grinning ear to ear. That kind of smile you can’t fake — the kind that only happens when something truly connects. It felt like being introduced to a kindred spirit, a voice that felt familiar in the best possible way. From the very first listen, I couldn’t wait to share it. Overtime is refreshing in a way that’s hard to come by. It’s honest, emotional, with a quiet power in the song, the kind that comes from lived experience and real feeling, and it reminded me why discovering new music still feels so magical.  Check out the video for the new track here and prepare to take off on a musical journey: There’s something really special about artists who keep creating, keep pushing forward, and keep showing up,  and that’s exactly what [Read More]

Mecha Mecha grabs your attention with their dark broody new single, Mourning in the Evening

February 20, 2025

Brisbane based dark indie band Mecha Mecha have just released a personal brooding new track that will capture your attention. The song Mourning in the Evening will definitely resonate as it shares the worst part of a breakup. What they have to say about the new track, Probably our most personal song, there isn’t really a nice way to put it. It’s epic, but extremely vulnerable, and honestly pretty scary to put out there. The fear of releasing the song has probably inhibited the release process a bit. Getting the balance right of not airing dirty laundry, but keeping the song’s integrity has been tricky.  It’s about losing the one, not the one that got away, but THE one, but from the perspective of the person leaving.  Esoterically, it’s just a comment on how life often seems to hit us with everything in one go, and we push on, the silver lining of rain clouds acting as a lighthouse that guides you through whatever storm it is you’re traversing.  But lyrically, it’s just a [Read More]

Tel-Aviv/Israel based indie pop RGB releases new single, Parties

August 26, 2024

Tel-Aviv/Israeli based indie pop band RGB are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album, A Place for Lovers. Meanwhile, they have just released their new single off the album, Parties.  The band comments, “Our new single ‘Parties’ captures the feeling of not fitting in, with lyrics that poignantly reflect on isolation, self-criticism and self-doubt. Yet, the song transitions to a hopeful and optimistic chorus with the line, ‘I can finally feel my face in the sun,’ symbolizing a shift from darkness to light, from night to dawn – the overall theme of our new album A Place For Lovers. This emotional journey makes the song both relatable and inspiring.” You can check out the new track with their lyric video here: About the album The songs on A Place For Lovers are part of an ongoing heart play, an intimate, sometimes exhilarating, sometimes melancholy reflection of the ups and downs of Roy and Noi’s personal love story. From track to track, the narrative throughout the 13-song collection is structured like a book, following a pattern of exposition, [Read More]
