Children of Bodom announce Halo of Blood Tour for North America

Children of Bodom have just announced their Halo of Blood Tour is coming across North America. We are glad to see that they will be having a stop here in San Francisco on February 28th at The Fillmore. They have announced the dates and they will have TYR from Faroe Islands on tour with them. An additional special guest has not been announced.Tickets are available here. Currently Children of Bodom are touring in Spain and Portugal. We will keep you updated as we get more news but for now mark your calendars to catch the show nearest you! The Pretty Reckless is a crowd pleaser in San Francisco!

Just only a week ago, I was at Slim’s in San Francisco and enjoying the incredible, Russian, British and American band lineup that comprised of Louna, Heaven’s Basement and The Pretty Reckless. You can read our reviews of Louna and Heaven’s Basement here. It was quite a night as these three very different bands came together and gave an amazing show that had the crowd continuously rockin out all night. This was the first time I saw The Pretty Reckless although I did get to enjoy Taylor Momsen as she joined Marilyn Manson on stage for the 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards. I have the footage in the Links below. One thing is for sure The Pretty Reckless has amazing stage presence and their songs are so damn good. I was immediately drawn in and excited to watch more. Taylor Momsen has stated in the past that her musical influences are Kurt Cobain and Joan Jett and that is exactly what you get with her! Fozzy set to tour with Steel Panther and Buckcherry in December!

One of our favorite heavy metal rockers, FOZZY is set to tour with the crazy Steel Panther guys and fellow rockers Buckcherry in December throughout Australia. The Jaded release first of several new singles, “Wafflebox (My Girl)”

Earlier this year, I told you about a great rock band from San Francisco, The Jaded. These guys bring true rock and roll and wrap it in everything from funk, blues and an old school sound that just has you wanting more. They have been hard at work recording several singles and have released the first one. “Wafflebox (My Girl)” is out now and you can get it on Itunes. This song is awesome! It has a great bluesy intro and then kicks into high gear with Jimmy Steal on vocals, he reminds me of a crisper sounding young David Lee Roth. It has a great catchy chorus and just has you moving in seconds. I love the energy that this song gives off and the backing vocals are spot on. Later in the song, there is a great vocals buildup that is fun and cheeky. Tori Vasquez and her amazing performance at the Fillmore

Last night we covered the Blue October SWAY tour show in San Francisco at the historic Fillmore. We were treated to an amazing performance by Tori Vasquez. We got to see Tori as she opened for Justin on his Open Book tour earlier this year. At that time, she did an acoustic performance and that was wonderful. Well, last night we had the honor of seeing Tori play with her band and it was spectacular. Her band definitely give out great energy. When Tori first steps out on stage, she reminded me of a young Linda Ronstadt and when she performs she brings out the Pat Benatar rockstar in her. She has quite a magnetic stage presence and along with her alluring voice, you can’t help but be drawn to her. Fozzy takes over the DNA Lounge in San Francisco

Heavy Metal Rockers, FOZZY have been touring with legendary Saxon and last night they had a stop here in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge. This was the first time that FOZZY has made a San Francisco appearance and they truly showed us what we have been missing! They put on an incredible show. These five guys just have adrenaline running through their veins from the moment they step out on to that stage and give us 150% of what they got. We were excited to see them play, since back in August, we had the opportunity to talk with Chris Jericho about the Sacrifice and Sin tour. Our very own San Francisco favorite singer/songrwriter Peter London has a new CD coming out that I wanted to tell you more about. Peter is an avid animal lover and is using his gift of music to raise awareness and funds for a refuge animal center. He has such a great heart and I look for all of us to join in and help support the no-kill animal shelters.
