ERASURE release new song, Elevation and pre-order the new album, The Violet Flame

With a nearly 30 year successful history behind them, Erasure have announced they will be releasing a new album, The Violet Flame on September 23rd. The album which was recorded in New York and London and is produced by Richard X and will be the band’s sixteenth studio album release. Erasure have released the first song off the album, Elevation as a one track download on iTunes here. You can check out the song here:

THE VIOLET FLAME is available for pre-order and will be available as limited 2CD edition, which features ERASURE’s legendary live performance at Mute’s Short Circuit festival in 2011. In addition, there will be exclusive versions which include the 3CD deluxe box set as well as a VIP ticket bundle which will feature the album, premium ticket and opportunities to meet the band and much, much more, all available here. Erasure has been one of my favorite bands after first discovering them in high school almost thirty years ago. I am really excited to catch them out on tour and the new album.
