Upon the Water is a metal/ metal core band from Southern California and they have a sound that is garnering a lot of attention. Their music can be described as metal with ambient and progressive tones. They bring depth and an honesty to their sound that truly will grab your attention. This young band is ready to have everyone take notice of them. They have recently released their six song EP Rise in June and takes you on a music journey of aggressive riffs, melodic guitars and fierce vocals.
They have just released a music video for one of my favorite tracks on the EP, Solitude. The song has a very progressive ambient intro that sets an ethereal tone that creates an impact. Check it out here:
