The Rabid Whole release music video for Don’t Stop Now & Announce Tour Dates!

The Rabid Whole deliver an energetic dose of electronic infused alternative rock. They have recently released a music video for Don’t Stop Now which is off their latest release, Problems. The horror/thriller style video was directed by Peter J. Arvidsson and produced by Elektrik Playground. Glass Delirium releases a recreated parody video of Separate Ways by Journey

As you know when MTV came out, every band couldn’t wait to make their music videos and the outcome was an abundance of music videos trying to tell a story within 3 to 4 minutes and sometimes on an extreme budget. With the help of Youtube, it has allowed all of us to relive our youth by watching the old music videos, sometimes we look back and wonder what we saw in so many of those videos. How about the video for Separate Ways by Journey, do you remember that one? Alternative rockers, Glass Delirium, whom do an excellent live cover of the song, decided to recreate the Separate Ways video, shot for shot. It is great! Pick up the new single, Walls Come Down by Miggs

  Miggs have just released their new single, Walls Come Down and I have been hooked on it! The song has a blend of rock/pop and an alternative edge. It really has this great hint of classic rock ala Steely Dan that in no way sounds dated. Miggs instead bring catchy melody, emotionally driven lyrics and an infectious beat with their own fresh style. The song is available for download on iTunes here. Moet releases a video for their track, Perfect Night

It is always welcoming to see a young create their own unique sound. In today’s music scene, there seems to be a demand to fit into a specific genre or sub-genre checkbox.That is not the case with Moet. This alternative rock style band from the South Bay are createing their own style of music. Time and time again, I see musicians who play to fit a genre instead of play what they enjoy. I think musically you can hear it in the music. With Moet, you can hear the truth in their music and that they enjoy exactly what they are playing.  They have a sound that blends influences of funk, indie, alternative and rock. There was so many great releases this year and one of our faves was the new album by Framing Hanley, The Sum of Who We Are,on their new label Imagen Records. This is Framing Hanley‘s third CD and the first in 4 years.
