Get ready for some great ROCK N ROLL from JAPAN!! Today’s Tuesdays Travels takes us to a band that started back in 2002 in Kanagawa, Japan. The GazettE is described as visual kei rock which has been characterized by the use of varying levels of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics. Well whatever it is I really LOVE the sound of The GazettE. They will be releasing a new single, “Fadeless” on August 21st and a new album sometime in October. Halestorm release new video for “Here’s To Us”

Halestorm has finally released the long awaited video for “Here’s to Us“. We had been hearing about the release for a couple weeks now but I guess they wanted to keep our anticipation growing. Check out the video which is for their song, “Here’s to Us” which was released last spring on the band’s second album, “The Strange Case of…” [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KC0DNLDXJW8&feature=youtu.be] Lzzy Hale explained more about the song to Rolling Stone magazine: “We wrote this song literally as our personal anthem. We’ve been through a lot together as a band, and we’ve learned to celebrate the low times as well as the highs. Fates Warning announce new album title, artwork, release date and tour!

Fates Warning announces a new album “Darkness in a Different Light” which is set to release on October 1st, 2013. Here is the cover art for the new album by the US Progressive Metal band, It has been almost 10 years sine we last heard from Fates Warning with their release of “FWX“. FATES WARNING vocalist Ray Alder checked in with a comment as follows: “Darkness in a Different Light” is the result of almost two years of very hard work from everyone in the band. I believe that this line-up is the best that Fates has ever had, and I also think that it comes through in the music on this album. Peter is an avid animal lover and is using his gift of music to raise awareness and funds for a refuge animal center.
