Yellowcard announces tour with Memphis May Fire and Emarosa

Sunken Monkey release video for their addictive new song, This Town is Too Big (For The Both of Us)

I have a special treat for you tonight. How about a fresh new dose of pop-punk rock from England. Sunken Monkey. They are currently working on the release of their second album, Party Scars on October 6th. I am really excited about this album after checking out their new single off it, This Town Is too Big (For The Both of Us) which is scheduled for release on August 18th on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc.  Check out the music video for the single: I love the guitar intro that takes you into the drums and then comes the edgy punk style vocals that truly will grab you. It has attitude, young energy, punk angst blended with old garage school rock. It is definitely catchy and addictive as I found myself playing it about half a dozen times after first listening to it, each time falling more and more in love with it.  These guys really have a vibrant high energy style and I can’t wait to hear more from them. Interview with bright new band, Light Up the Town from Austria

We recently told you about an awesome band from Austria, Light Up The Town which really caught our attention with their recent release of a lyric video for their song Tonight. Who is Light Up The Town? Check out their members and brief self description of each: Jakob Schied (Jake) Guitar/backing Vocals – The ,,son of the darkness”. His word is law! Goo Goo Dolls set the bar high for the inaugural concert at Sonoma Mountain Village

Sonoma Mountain Village kicked off their first outdoor concert tonight and they really set the bar pretty high for other musicians. The Goo Goo Dolls performed and delivered a spectacular concert which will be a hard act for musicians to follow.  First, the new venue is really going to be one of my favorites, boasting free parking, easy access, very well organized and set in a beautiful backdrop of the Sonoma county. It has been a couple years since the last time I saw Goo Goo Dolls perform and they have always been a personal fave of mine. Their latest album Magnetic was released in 2013 and it was awesome to hear them play several songs from their album such as the fan favorite Come To Me and my faves Caught in the Storm and Rebel Beat. John Rzeznik and Robby Takac sounded spot on and delivered an above studio quality set! It was amazing how well it sounded, especially for being an outdoor concert. Alesana announce Chaos Is A Ladder Tour featuring Megosh, The Funeral Portrait and The Things They Carried

  North Carolina pop-metal icons Alesana have announced a new tour  featuring their Revival Recordings label-mates Megosh.
