These young guys have the passion, energy, and music to satisfy your need for rock. Shattered Generation can be desribed as Glam Metal/Sleaze Rock, Hair Metal, 80’s style rock yet with a modernized sound. They are in way imitating the 80’s bands, these boys have their own unique style and sound. Shattered Generation is: Johnny Wildheart – Vocals Lexi Black – Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals, Synths Acie Wilson – Bass, Backing vocals Jonno – Drums, Backing Vocals The first time I hear them was when I was at my desk playing submissions and I pressed play and went off to get my coffee. The forthcoming album Shadows brings The Relapse Symphony in the spotlight where they belong

May 28, 2014

The Relapse Symphony from Washington, DC are set to release their debut LP Shadows on July 8th via Standby Records. The highly anticipated album will show the progression of the band since their release of their 2013 EP, Time’s Running Out. Guitarist JC Charles explains, “When we recorded our EP we were still in the infancy of our band. We were still experimenting and finding ourselves as musicians, and as people. We all went through some of the toughest times of our lives during the making of this album, and we came out on the other side with something we are all extremely proud of. This record is something we know our fans are going to get a lot out of, and hopefully will make us some new fans along the way.” This album is truly a fantastic work by this young band. They have successfully brought together various styles and inspirations into this album which will have something for everyone to love. It actually brings back a very 80’s Skid Row vibe but in a [Read More]

May 28, 2014

We have told you about how Billy Idol is set to release his new album, “Kings & Queens of the Underground in October through BFI.  Well, now I have even more great Billy Idol news. Billy is set to release his self written memoir “Dancing With Myself” on October 7th with Touchstone and Simon & Schuster UK. The book is bold, searingly candid and written by Billy himself. Billy recounts his life story from his transient childhood to becoming a punk pioneer and from being one of MTV’s first megastars and revealing never before told tales of the culture, sex, drugs and rock and roll that colored Idol’s experience through fame. Later this week, Billy is set to appear at the annual book publishing convention BookExpo America in New York and then he will be heading out on his summer tour. We look forward to October and to Billy adding US Tour Dates after they return from overseas! Framing Hanley release music video for Criminal

May 28, 2014

We recently told you the exciting news about Framing Hanley and how they released their new album, The Sum of Who We on their new label Imagen Records. This is Framing Hanley‘s third CD and the first in 4 years. Frontman Nixon explains, “There was definitely a dark period during the 2 years we spent recording this. That’s not to say this album is some dark and brooding album. There are definitely some light-hearted tunes on here as well; some that are fun. This album is the past 2 years of our lives and is every part of our beings…that’s what the title means. This album really is the sum of who we are. The thing that I love most is, I think when the listener puts on those headphones, or puts the cd in the car, he or she is gonna listen and come to find out, hey, me and this guy have got some things in common!” The album is the bands boldest artistic statement to date capturing the essence of innocence and hope, light and darkness, struggle and determination.
