Interview with Eve to Adam as they stop in Sacramento, catch them on TOUR NOW!

March 27, 2014

We were excited to hear about the return of Eve to Adam to the Ace of Spades in Sacramento. We had just seen them perform last month and they were incredible.  This time, they did it again as they returned and gave a powerful energetic set on a Sunday night.  We had the opportunity to talk with the band shortly before they took to the stage and are pleased to bring you that interview here:   [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCwuc0DxAX0&feature=youtu.be]   One thing is for sure, Eve to Adam truly know how to rock a set.  They came out all fired up and fueled for a night of rock.  What I also love about them is how they can perfect their set to emulate their studio sound. Frontman Taki Sassaris projects his powerful vocals and you are absolutely captivated. Guarav Bali dishes out some amazing smokin guitar solos as Adam Latiff is on the opposite side and is a ball of fire on his guitar.  Aaron Baylor is slamming on the bass as he delivers his spirited stage presence. Steel Panther’s new album ALL YOU CAN EAT is a face melting, panty droppin, baby makin album!

March 26, 2014

We have all been waiting anxiously for the new album All You Can Eat by Steel Panther and the time is almost among us! Only SIX more days to go!!! Well, as I told you last week about my secret… I got to hear the entire new album and have to say one thing…….. HOLY BALLS! THIS ALBUM IS FUCKING AWESOME!!   It has everything you could want in rock and metal from anthemic rock songs, arena size ballads, blazing guitars, great harmonies, power house drums, sexy bass lines and those 80s style vocals that we can’t get enough of. There are some bad ass guitar solos, smokin riffs, catchy choruses, I just can’t tell you how epic this album will be.  The songs are fun and infectious and you can’t help but love them. Definitely a party album for any night of the week.  If they had a panty meter for this album, it would be a full on soaking wet one for this new album!  We will have to watch out for the [Read More]

Smashing Pumpkins sign deal with BMG and set to release 2 new albums in 2015

March 26, 2014

Smashing Pumpkins announced yesterday via their social networks that they have signed an Artists Services deal with BMG. Smashing Pumpkins will be releasing 2 new albums in 2015: MONUMENTS TO AN ELEGY and DAY FOR NIGHT. The first single is expected to be released by year’s end. Recording sessions have already began and as BILLY CORGAN says, “For those interested in sound, think: ‘guitars, guitars, guitars, and more guitars’ but more so on the epic side of things than say, grossly metallic.”  We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us with these two new albums. Corgan also tells us that,  “Manning the boards will be producer Howard Willing, with whom I first had the pleasure of working with during the Adore sessions. We expect a single out by year’s end.” Smashing Pumpkins were formed back in 1988 and have had quite a successful music career, having sold more than 30 million albums, and won multiple Grammy Awards in the process. If you have never been to a Smashing Pumpkins concert, then you have missed out on some of the best live [Read More]

Pre-Order the new Kyng album and catch them out on tour with Kill Devil Hill and Crobot.

March 25, 2014

Kyng is one band that from the first time I saw them in January 2013 to now, just came out strong and have not stopped since. We first saw them perform at the Dean NAMM Jam in 2013 and they were incredible. I knew right away that this power trio was going to be a band that everyone would soon be talking about. Why? Because these three guys create a powerful dose of true rock and roll. Kyng is  Eddie Veliz pn Vocals/Guitar, Pepe Clarke on Drums, and Tony Castaneda on Bass/Backup Vocals. These three guys mean business when it comes to delivering a kick ass rock concert.  Even Eddie Trunk of That Metal Show mentioned Kyng as a band to check out that he loves during our recent interview here. They have a sound that might have you reminiscent of early Soundgarden or the classic Led Zeppelin and even take it heavy with hints of Black Sabbath. We just saw them for the 5th time on Sunday night at the Ace of Spades [Read More]
