This year Gibson Guitars unveiled the Double Diamond Line which is built with real diamonds. Dj Ashba made an appearance to talk about his new signature Les Paul which comes out in March. One of the top highlights of CES this year goes to an incredible band from Liverpool, Xander and The Peace Pirates! They have been performing at the Gibson main stage during CES and have made quite an impression on many! We received many emails asking us to check them out further. So, we did and instantly loved what we heard. They have a great bluesy rock sound that just penetrates your soul. With Xander and The Peace Pirates you are treated to two fantastic musicians, one being a one [Read More]

January 10, 2014

We have been anxiously awaiting the release of Rockers Switchblade Serenade new album, “Alive at Night”.  HOT DAMN! It was definitely an album worth waiting for. It is a complete full on ROCK n ROLL  album that will soon become one of your favorites. “Alive at Night” was produced, mixed, and mastered by Nick Bellmore (Drummer of Toxic Holocaust and Kingdom Of Sorrow) at Dexter’s Lab Recording Studio  You can pick it up NOW  on Itunes here. The first song is the title track, “Alive at Night” and starts right off with their energetic rock, bad ass chorus and amazing guitar work. It is a great anthemic rock song. You also have their single we previously shared with you, “Who Are You?” Bassist Ed Mandevil told us more about the song, “The song is about asking the listener who they really are. There are so many fakes and phoneys out there and we’re a bit tire of it!”  The song has a bad ass bass intro, vocals are edgy yet mysterious, love the backing vocals, great guitar solo [Read More]

From Ashes to New release new video for Stay This Way

January 8, 2014

From Ashes to New is a great group of six talented musicians from Pennsylvania. These guys were each known before for playing in bands in their local scene. Unfortunately, many bands are short lived or members change. Then you seem to be left with the truly faithful musicians who live their passion for music in everything that they do. What is even better, is gathering those musicians to form their own band. They not only bring their years of experience but their variety of musical influences. From Ashes to New is just that, almost a “super group” of sorts. These six guys came together and formed their band and in the short amount of time, are garnering a lot of well deserved attention. They currently have their self titled EP out and available on Itunes here. Who is Froms Ashes to New? You have Matt Brandyberry and Chris Musser on Vocals, Dan Kecki and  Branden “Boo” Kreider on Guitars, Jon-Mikel Valudes on Drums and Garrett Russell on Bass. Ready to check them out? Watch their recently released video [Read More]

Raiju delivers a fresh new sound that is highly addictive and you will love!

January 5, 2014

Straight from one of the most politically liberal towns in the U.S. comes a band delivering one of the freshest new sounds in progressive metal/rock bands out today. Raiju is comprised of five suave musicians who together blend the great sounds of metal, pop, rock, and progressive into their own highly addictive music style.  Even though they bring to mind a familiarity of bands like Dream Theater, Of Mice and Mine, Bring Me The Horizon and Pierce the Veil, they truly stand out with their originality and forging ahead to create their own unique sound. Their song Pasquale is the perfect song to get yourself acquainted to this new band. You not only hear some kick ass metal guitars but raging  high octane drums. The vocals just capture you and you are drawn into the melodious metal riffs. Definitely a great song that you will soon be adding to your playlist. Amazing work guys! So who is Raiju? You have Scott Wagner on  Lead & Rhythm Vocals, Bobby Carroll on Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Darby Keith on Lead & [Read More]
