A Story Beneath releases new video for “All in My Head”

One of my favorite bands that I told you about in a post back in May  that includes an interview with Phil Goff, has recently released a video for their kick ass song, “All in  My Head” which is from their new EP Beneath the Skin, and you can check it out here: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmRx-gQUL34&feature=youtu.be] A Story Beneath is an incredible band from Santa Clarita, California. Phil Goff is on Guitar and Vocals, Toddy Libby on Bass and Keys, and Markus Flick on drums. These three guys come together with driving rhythms, melodic chords blended with some powerful rock reminiscent of Silverchair, early Tool and Incubus but they definitely have a sound of their own.  Once you start listening to them, believe me, you might not stop. Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals Make a Kid’s Wish Come True!

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals did something very special last night at their Tulsa, Oklahoma performance. They worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and brought up young Peyton Arens who is battling a rare form of  Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer to play with them onstage. Black Veil Brides release limited edition shirt for Anti-Bullying Campaign

October is Anti-Bullying Awareness Month and Black Veil Brides are doing what they can to help eradicate bullying!  I have brought you stories in the past about the increase of bullying and the severity of it even leading to deaths. You can read more about my article on Amanda Todd; Bully No More here. Black Veil Brides have created an awesome shirt that contains the lyrics, IF WE STAND TOGETHER WE WILL BE UNBROKEN,  from their song, “Unbroken“. Hinder’s guitarist, Joe “Blower” Garvey has surgery after bus accident

Last week, HINDER had to pull out from their appearance at the Boise Music Festival on July 27th due to time to recover from a tour bus accident. On July 22nd, they made a post about the accident: Here is the post: “Hinder regrets to inform their fans that they must withdraw from their appearance at the Boise Music Festival on July 27th. Last night when the band was traveling on their tour bus, they were unexpectedly cut off by another vehicle. Members of the band and crew suffered injuries and spent the night in ER. Treat yourself to down and dirty outlaw ROCK with Dead in 5!

It is that time of week where you have your eyes set on the weekend and can’t wait to let yourself loose and have some fun. Well of course, with all good times you need to have some good music! Well I have a band that is just perfect for you, whether you plan on raising some hell, partying or just sitting back and enjoying some true rock.  Dead in 5 from Detroit is the band and they are here to please your need, with melodic hard rock fueled by Detroit muscle.  They have a sound that is a combination of anything from Soundgarden to Black Stone Cherry, to The Cult and everything in between. Our new Tuesdays Travels takes us to Sweden for some ROCK!

Let’s take a trip to Sweden for our Tuesday Travels. When you think of Sweden you may think of Swedish Meatballs, Ikea furniture, Swedish Fish  and even CrashDiet for your Rock n Roll which KICK ASS! Now I have a new band to introduce you to. Is The Last Band and they are delivering “High Class, White Trash, Steamroller Rock”. Started in 2011 and rapidly growing, in 2012 they put out their EP “Mean Machine”. They continued to rock the venues and recently they played the Sweden Rock Festival and had everyone fall in love with them. Who is The Last Band? You have Chris Blood on Vocals/Guitar, Nick Young on Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals, Johan “Jack Hammer” on  Drums and Dennis “Pumping Iron” Andersson on Bass/Backing Vocals.
