Tom Keifer is on Solid Ground with his new album, The Way Life Goes

Growing up in the 70’s/80’s, I listened to a LOT of ROCK n ROLL. One of my favorite bands from the 80’s was the Philadelphia based blues rock band CINDERELLA. I went to many of their concerts to just to hear the raspy, distinctive gritty voice of Tom Keifer. His vocals were incredible and always drew me to their music. Tom had suffered some nodules on his vocal chords and at one time, left him unsure if we was going to ever be able to sing again. Tom has succeeded in treating his issues with his vocal chords and continues to amaze us with his powerful and amazing voice. Earlier this year, Tom released his solo record, The Way Life Goes on Merovee Records (through WMG ILG) and went out on the first part of his tour in support of the album. Moovalya announces Summer Exposure Tour

Melodic punk rock band, Moovalya from Phoenix, Arizona announces their Summer Exposure Tour set to start August 17th. Moovalya has been delivering solid punk rock music on the Phoenix scene since 2009. This three piece band shows you how much they love to perform as they played as many shows as they could. With that, they brought their energy to the stage and leave everyone wanting to see them again and again. Moovalya has Benjamin Jones on Guitar/Vocals, Sean Stroud on Bass/Vocals and Mitch Hosier on Drums. With less than a month away, I am having a hard time containing my excitement for what is my most anticipated album release. Their seventh studio album “Sway” by Blue October is set to release on August 20th and it is definitely one I have been anxiously waiting for. I have been a long time lover of Blue October and their emotionally driven music that truly has a life of its own. Their music has been there for me in my darkest times as well as my most celebrated moments. Some Fear None, A must see band from Sacramento!

Top 25 Cover/Remake Songs You have to know!

I have always loved cover songs, most specifically cover songs that I end up liking even better than their original. During many of my my interviews with bands, one of my favorite questions I ask is if they could take a song from any other genre and turn it into their own, what would it be? I have had some great responses, like Jettblack rockers doing a cover of Tina Turner’s “We Don’t Need Another Hero“, or Wratchchild doing a cover of the Beach Boys, “California Girls” or A Story Beneath doing a cover of the Mamas and the Papas, “California Dreamin“. Those are all remakes that I hope get made. What I really like is when an artists takes the original song and completely makes it their own, truly owns it and not just imitates. Time to Crank it up Loud to Jettblack!! How about some off the hook hard rock with Jettblack from across the pond. Okay my 80’s and 90’s Rock lovers out there, here is another awesome high powered, energy driven rock band that you are going to fall in love with. I promise on this one! These guys deliver the goods and by the way, it is so nicely packaged… Jettblack are four rockers from High Wycombe, England and started back in 2007.
