Concert review: Alter Bridge with Like A Storm and Gojira, in Munich. By Alex Bock

  Munich, Zenith, December 10th, 2016 This tour was announced about five months ago and it was a highly anticipated one. After the release of their latest record ‘The Last Hero’ on October 7th, Alter Bridge started out on an extensive tour through Europe and UK early November. With them on the road were Living Colour, Volbeat, Gojira and Like A Storm. The only band that stayed throughout the whole tour were Like A Storm. They were also the first band to play that night in Munich. The band has been out on tour through Germany earlier this year with Escape The Fate, where they played in a smaller clubs. Now with Alter Bridge they were able to play in front of big audiences, which in this case were about 5000 people. Catch Bay Area rockers Black Map supporting Chevelle on upcoming tour

Black Map, the Bay Area rockers will be supporting Chevelle on a string of tour dates in January. We are excited to see that they will be kicking off the tour in San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore on January 13th. Earlier this year Black Map announced that they have signed a worldwide deal with Entertainment One (eOne) to release a record in early 2017. Singer and bassist Ben Flanagan comments, “We are extremely happy to announce that we signed with eOne.  We recently began recording our second record in Oakland, California and will complete it as we return from summer touring with Bush and Chevelle.” BLACK MAP features Dredg guitar player Mark Engles, Far/††† (Crosses) drummer Chris Robyn and singer/guitar player Ben Flanagan of The Trophy Fire. Kick ass rockers THEM EVILS release video for their track Untold

Today is the final day of tour for bad ass rockers, THEM EVILS.  They will be finishing up their tour with The Pretty Reckless and Holy White Hounds with a show at The Mayan Theater in Los Angeles. These guys have been bringing their high energy, old school fuzz rock to the stage with their vintage give, huge riffs and powerful vocals. They have just released a video for their track, Untold, which is off their EP Them Evils that was released earlier this year. Our Spotlight Band is rockers KANDUR from San Francisco

  Today our Spotlight Band is KANDUR. We recently caught KANDUR performing at the Neck of the Woods in San Francisco. They kicked off the show with The Fame Riot and RADKEY. They came out with great energy and got the crowd ready to rock. Their music delivers a great balance of alternative rock with hard hitting punches and dipped in a classic rock vibe. Very refreshing to find a band that brings out some great feel good rock music. The band is the works of Ilker Kandur who relocated to San Francisco when the political climate in his home of Istanbul started to take drastic turns for the worse, choosing San Francisco as one of the western world’s most historically progressive locales, and the home of many of his musical influences, San Francisco.
