It is time to hear some new music by The Killing Lights. As we told you last year, The Killing Lights is the new chapter for music by Michael Vampire. Today they released a new song, Waste My Time that is definitely a change from their Vampires Everywhere days. It has a great rockin sound with cool chants, powerful guitars, steady rocking drums and deep yet thundering bass. Jeff Hanneman gets Traffic circle named after him in Poland

Last year through a charity auction, a company Art-Com Ltd. won the rights to rename a traffic circle for a period of one year. The money donated for the name change will be going to fund medical equipment for children and seniors. Art-Com, being the bad ass metal lovers, decided to pay tribute to our fallen metal guitarist, Jeff Hanneman of Slayer. Jeff Hanneman died May 2, 2013 from cirrhosis of the liver. So now the traffic circle in Jaworzno, Poland has been renamed Jeff Hanneman’s Circle Pit. State Line Empire rocks the Whisky during NAMM week

One thing I really enjoy during NAMM week is catching an awesome concert after a long day walking the floors of the Anaheim Convention Center. During our NAMM week, we had long days and then even longer nights. On Saturday night, right after NAMM closed, we headed down to Hollywood. We got there in time so we could catch our friends in State Line Empire perform. State Line Empire were playing at the Whisky-A-GoGo for one of their 50th Anniversary shows along with Fault Line, Jetboy and Faster Pussycat. Well, State Line Empire definitely put on a great show that night and even played some of their new songs, especially my favorite; “Raise Your Sins”.
