Tomorrows brings to life alternative rock

There is a great Alternative Rock band that you have to check out. They are called Tomorrows and is the work of brothers Jack and Jim Ivans. Their live musicians are Cullen MacDonald on Guitars and James Tan on Bass. I love my alternative rock and San Francisco in the ’90s seemed to give me an abundance of alternative bands to listen too, that just isn’t so true these days. But now with the find of Tomorrows I can revive my love for alternative rock! Tomorrows is from New York City and this year, you will definitely be hearing a lot more from them.They bring to life pop/rock with an alternative edge. Their songs have emotionally driven lyrics and melodies that just grab a hold of you. They are releasing a full length album, The Code Duello which will be out later this year. Tuesdays Travels Pick of the week goes to BatAAr from Sweden

Here we are on our first Tuesday Travels Pick of the Week for 2014!!!! Let’s start it off with an awesome alternative style metal band, BatAAr from Gothenburg, Sweden. They truly have a unique sound that blends everything from metal to punk, electronic to deathcore. They call their style “Art Metal” and it definitely will grab you and have you wanting to hear more. BatAAr just finished up their first ever Japan tour and it was quite successful. They definitely gained tons of new fans and we can’t wait for them to announce new tour dates…. hoping for some US dates soon. Here we are at #6 for our countdown of 14 Bands that will rule 2014 and we are excited to announce the honor goes to New Politics! I am sure you can’t imagine them having an even bigger year than 2013, but it is true. These guys are on a non stop Energizer Bunny track to success and just have the Midas Touch. Day 4 of 12 Days of Bands You Have to Know goes to False Puppet

Today is Day 4 of our 12 Days of Bands You Have to Know. We have a great young band from Santa Barbara, False Puppet. False Puppet is Tyler Benko on Guitar / Vocals, Channing Peake on Bass / Vocals and Brennan Benko on Drums. There may be only three of them but they create a big sound. Their music has an alternative edge to it but equally rocks and has some great punk influences. They definitely have many layers to their music and it completely draws you in. They caught me off guard because they are so young and yet amazingly talented. NEW TOUR 2014: COMBICHRIST with William Control and New Years Day!

We have just received the dates for the upcoming tour for Combichrist “The We Love Tour” with special guest William Control and New Year’s Day! The tour is set to start off on April 3rd in Charlotte, NC and you can check the other dates below: I am not surprised to see William Control and Combichrist on tour together since when we saw William Control play in San Francisco last month for “The Revel Without a Cause Tour” at the DNA Lounge, Combichrist was hitting the stage downstairs at the DNA Lounge on the same night!
