Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Grass Child. Grass Child are one of the local favorites that have been added to this year’s lineup. They bring a fresh new sound of rock/ska/funk/groove/blues to life. What is amazing about this band is their versatility in combining a wide range of influences into their own personal sound that demands to be heard. Ed Kowalczyk is our Bottle Rock Napa 2014 Featured Artist of the Day

Today we have a very special treat for the featured artist/band of the day. It is Ed Kowalczyk (former lead singer and founding member of LIVE) and he is going to bring his stellar voice to Bottle Rock Napa 2014! I still remember the first time I heard the amazing voice of Ed, it was back in the ’91/’92 and as usual, I went out in search of live bands on a Friday night. My group of friends and I went to the Paradise Lounge and the DNA Lounge in San Francisco and LIVE was just about to perform there. I remember getting up and going right to the front of the stage and watching the entire set in awe of that amazing voice. Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Empires. From the first time I listened to Empires, I was taken back to the nightlife of the ’90s as I would go club hopping and enjoy grunge, alternative, and mod. It was a time for you to feel the music and literally have it take over you. Empires are an Indie Alternative band from Chicago that do just that. You can’t help but listen to them and be “in the moment”. Fantastic songwriting, blended with grunge vibes, alternative style, and stirring vocals make this band have the winning combination Empires was formed in 2008 and have successfully two full-length albums, two EPs, and one 7″ single. Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Delta Rae. Delta Rae are an Americana folk rock sextet band that is an amazing vocal and instrument ensemble. These six ( three siblings and three friends) who come together and bring a fresh new sound to Americana. Their music can show influences of folk-pop, southern rock, country, soul-rock. You can’t just place them into a category since their music transcends the boundaries and has everyone listening and enjoying them. Today we start our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band and for today we bring you The Soft White Sixties. The Soft White Sixties from San Francisco are bringing a great soulful rock sound to the music scene that you have to take a listen to. Their style blends many of their influences from Soul, Rock and Roll, pop, R & B and have successfully fused it together in a contemporary sound. They have been gaining a lot of well deserved attention and are becoming well known for their spectacular live shows. They just completed performing 11 shows in 3 days for the SXSW 2014. KBB Records artist Scare Don’t Fear added to Vans Warped Tour 2014!

KBB Records which is the new label founded by Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce and co-manager Kyle Borman.
