Falling in Reverse proves their Haters are their Motivators!

Falling in Reverse set the Roxy on fire today for their daytime show which was streamed live worldwide. This live stream was presented by Hot Topic and the only way to get into this exclusive show was to pre-order their new CD bundle “Fashionably Late” which was released today, June 18th on Epitaph Records. For those that purchased the package in the Southern California Hot Topic stores were treated to a free all ages show at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip. We had the opportunity to watch the show and I will let you know…. Falling in Reverse is a force to be reckoned with. Get under the spell of Red9 and rock!

Today I was treated to a special afternoon filled with some KICK ASS Rock and Roll!!! I recently received the new CD by Red9 “Under Dark Skies”.  It was a perfect sunny afternoon spent sitting outside and set the CD on play….. Then it began… Under Dark Skies… The first song Hold Your Own brings such a great Sabbath/Ozzy sound that just wakes you your senses and demands you take a listen. Great first song that has you looking forward to more. Patterns comes in next with an incredible drum and bass intro that just leads into an incredible rhythm that just sustains throughout the song. You are now just getting started and ready to rock and roll. Song 3 is Ignoramus and has a dark edgy sound with an exuberant build up that just delivers another well composed song. Crashing Broadway Summertime for me always reminds me of long days filled with great new music. It is a time to enjoy life and take the time to find new bands whether they be at festivals or nightclubs, it is the time to explore. I have a band for you straight from Tupelo, MS that I have been enjoying and you need to know about them. They are Crashing Broadway and they have a sound that blends rock with alternative and just the right amount of pop. They will have you dancing one minute as you raise your fists in the next. It is time to welcome the Marty Ray Project into your life!

I know a lot of you know me for my intense love for rock and roll but you also should know that I have a soft spot for really good country music.  Well my passion for country has just been satisfied.  It has been a long time since I have had my affection for country music peaked in any way. Well that has all changed.  I recently heard one of the most amazing voices that literally sent shivers down my spine! His name is Marty and he is from the Marty Ray Project.  I watched a YouTube video where he did a cover of Billionaire by Bruno Mars & Travie McCoy. Battlecross releases new single, “Force Fed Lies” and album artwork and title

Time to heavy it up with some new Battlecross! Coming from Detroit, MI, Battlecross just released today their title and art work for their upcoming new album. War of Will  is set to release on July 9th which was co-produced at Audio Hammer Studios and is on Metal Blade Records. Midnight Cinema delivers harmonious symmetry at its finest

I wanted to tell you about a new band which is more like reacquanting yourself with a long lost friend. Midnight Cinema is composed of members of  the highly successful band, Thriving Ivory. It is not as much a reincarnation but more of an evolution of their creative talents.  Clayton Stroope  will have you again, magically transported  as his vocals take you on an emotional journey that truly touches your soul.  Drew Cribley’s melodic guitar playing will heightens your senses and Paul Niedermier brings it all together on drums. Midnight Cinema is truly harmonious symmetry at its finest.
