Kids in Glass Houses announce Farewell Tour set for October

February 26, 2014

Kids in Glass Houses from South Wales have just announced their Farewell Tour. We are sad to see the end of Kids in Glass Houses (KIGH) since they have such a vibrant full of life sound that will be missed. They made the announcement on their Facebook page with the following: It’s a surreal and daunting moment when you realise that you’re contemplating bringing to an end something that has given your life unquantifiable joy, satisfaction and meaning. Something that is so personal that it embodies who you are or who you have been perceived as for so long. You start to wonder what you’ll be without it. It’s a near impossible void to comprehend filling, but we feel that now is the right time for us to do move on and do just that. This is the end of Kids In Glass Houses. Amicably and on our own terms. The way we always promised ourselves it would be. We’re as unified in this decision as we have been with any that we’ve made together, and [Read More]

Take a listen and be held captive by pop punk sensation Kate Nash

February 19, 2014

Allow me to introduce to you the amazing pop punk sensation, Kate Nash. She is incredible and has a voice that can get inside your head, inspire and empower, open your heart and soothe your soul. Kate has released her third album, Girl Talk was written on the bass guitar, lending Kate’s new sound – a more raw punk feel, she says, ‘It’s definitely a pop record, but has a new sound and feel to it. I played bass in a punk band called The Receeders for a couple of years and I love how powerful playing bass and using my voice like that made me feel. Girl Talk is full of colour, pop harmonies and melodies, and I feel like my voice has matured and that I can do more with it. Music is my escapism and vice, and my life is in every song. I’m happy to share the next chapter.’ Kate has recently released her video for “Sister”, her single which is off of Girl Talk. You are going to love it. Tomorrows brings to life alternative rock

January 18, 2014

There is a great Alternative Rock band that you have to check out. They are called Tomorrows and is the work of brothers Jack and Jim Ivans. Their live musicians are Cullen MacDonald on Guitars and James Tan on Bass.  I love my alternative rock and San Francisco in the ’90s seemed to give me an abundance of alternative bands to listen too, that just isn’t so true these days. But now with the find of Tomorrows I can revive my love for alternative rock! Tomorrows is from New York City and this year, you will definitely be hearing a lot more from them. They bring to life pop/rock with an alternative edge. Their songs have emotionally driven lyrics and melodies that just grab a hold of you. They are releasing a full length album, The Code Duello which will be out later this year. I recently have fallen in love with their first single of their upcoming album, “Heartbreakers“. Check it out here: [soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/121297965″ params=”color=ff6600&auto_play=false&show_artwork=true” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]   “Heartbreakers” has some fierce guitars, catchy [Read More]
