From the first time we heard them earlier this year, we were instantly hooked and fell in love with their new era of alt synth glam rock. ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Kyle Rising shines with performance at The Independent SF

One of our favorite sets of the year was not at a large festival, stadium venue, world tour events. It was at the intimate venue The Independent in San Francisco last week.  We were heading out to cover BabyJake on the SF tour stop and were happy to see that Kyle Rising was an opener.   We watched several of his Doors covers via Instagram and couldn’t help but be in awe of his uncanny resemblance to Jim Morrison and the amazing vocals to match.  One thing is certain, although you might have been introduced to Kyle through his Doors covers, it is his own style and songs that will keep you a longtime fan.  His music and vibe brings a nostalgic nod to the 70’s, all while his alluring voice delivers pure perfection with rich tones that hold you captivated. Today we wanted to shine our artist spotlight on singer songwriter Natalie Jane.  We caught her opening up for MisterWives and Bishop Briggs out on The Don’t Look Down Tour. They made a stop last night in San Francisco at The Warfield. You might have been first introduced to Natalie Jane from her viral TikToks but she definitely proved herself on the stage with her performance.  Her powerful vocals captivated the crowd and had us ready for more.  Her songs are catchy and infectious and are now on our daily playlist! SPOTLIGHT BAND: Check out the new video from Princess Goes

Princess Goes is the charismatic trio from New York City led by vocalist, lyricist, musician and actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under, Lazarus) alongside keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie, Cyndi Lauper) and drummer Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood).
