Stand Atlantic release new single and video for “Deathwish”

May 1, 2021

Australian rock band Stand Atlantic have shared their newest single “deathwish” featuring rap artist nothing, nowhere. In the words of Stand Atlantic vocalist and guitarist Bonnie Fraser, “deathwish” serves as a not-so-gentle reminder to “don’t be a little bitch to other people’s opinions, trust yourself instead, you’ll be better than ever”. On the new single, Fraser shares: “Frankly, I died. I was a servant to the opinions of people who didn’t give a fuck about me. My self-worth was so low that I would get high off a glimpse of their approval. I lost myself and I think the old me had a deathwish all along. But now I’m back and truly have zero fucks left to give”. Cold Moon release new single “Lost”

April 28, 2021

Cold Moon, the Northern California-based quartet of long-time friends including members of The Story So Far and Set Your Goals, have shared their brand new single “Lost” today. Straight out of a 2000’s coming of age film, Cold Moon delivers a track about self-discovery and overcoming hardships with layered vocals and catchy guitar riffs. “Lost” is the third single from the band’s debut LP “What’s The Rush”, due out May 7, 2021 via Pure Noise Records. This is the first taste of new music from the band since their 2019 debut EP “Rising”. Musically, the songs Cold Moon have written are miles removed from where the band came from (Bassist Will Levy plays guitar in pop-punk stalwarts The Story So Far, while Drummer Mike Ambrose was a longtime member of the hardcore-tinged Set Your Goals), but they still carried the same intrinsic urgency and emotional resonance that colored their other projects. While facing questions about when their debut full-length would arrive, Cold Moon simply responded with “What’s the rush?”, a joke that ended up shaping [Read More]

GEN AND THE DEGENERATES RELEASE THEIR EXUBERANT DEBUT SINGLE “UNDERWEAR”

April 26, 2021

Underground rockers, Gen and the Degenerates strut into place as they release exuberant debut single “Underwear”. A track that represents the bands refusal to conform, a voice for the unheard and a statement that represents everything they have to offer; it’s fast paced, gritty and everything you need to listen to right now. The single is a proclamation of unbridled sexuality and attraction, something that comes from vocalist Gen Degenerate’s rejection of labels and societal pressures. Commenting on the track Gen said: ‘Underwear’ is our loud, proud statement of Intent. I wrote those lyrics for all those, like myself, who are sick of letting others define their identity and their relationships. It’s a rallying cry to everyone who wants to be defined on their own terms. Our anthem for a generation of lovers, fighters and degenerates. I can’t wait to hear the words “I don’t care what’s in your underwear” screamed back at me at shows, it’s going to be a liberating moment”. A cathartic track, Gen and the Degenerates loudly deliver “Underwear” with all [Read More]

Black River Delta release new video for “California Sun”

April 20, 2021

Black River Delta is back with their new album “Shakin’”. It will be out June 4th via Sofaburn Records. With their new song “California Sun” the band delivers the third single from their long-awaited third studio record. Frontman Erik Jacobs on the new single: “California Sun” is a track that has been with us for quite some time. We started writing it a few years ago and it has been through a few stages before it was finished. We recorded drums and guitars in Malmö, Sweden, and then continued with bass in Los Angeles. Mid-recording we took a break and went on a road trip. Even though we’d always seen this track as a ”car song” we hadn’t written any lyrics for it. So we were actually driving down Highway 1, probably going too fast and listening to rock songs way too loud on the radio. And that experience was the last piece of the puzzle, that was what ‘California Sun’ was all about.” “The idea for the music video was easy, we would just [Read More]
